Bernarda Brunovic was born severely visually impaired in 1993. Today she performs on the big stage and inspires people with her voice across multiple countries.

Over the years, Bernarda Brunovic has undergone many eye operations. During the last operation, she loses her left eye. Bernarda is given one eye made out of glass, with the other she can only see dimly. She decides not to undergo any more operations.

Bernarda focusses on her special talents: her voice and her extraordinary talent for sport. At the age of seventeen, she won the preliminary round of the European Song Contest (ESC) in Switzerland. Eight years later, Bernarda reached the semi-finals of a major German music casting show - a huge success for the almost blind singer.

The devout Catholic studied theology and philosophy on the side. She also continues to pursue her sporting ambitions. She is currently training for the half marathon in Zurich.
